The Karnataka Lingayat Education (KLE) Society was founded in 1916 by seven visionary teachers, the 'Saptarishis' - who dedicated their lives to the cause of education. Born out of a movement of self-sacrifice, the society has grown from a single Anglo-Vernacular school into a global education powerhouse.
Today, KLE Society manages 310+ institutions across healthcare, technology, and agriculture, transforming the lives of over 1.38 lakh students worldwide.

Established under the aegis of the KLE Society, the Nagarabhavi campus is located in one of Bangalore's prime educational hubs. We are a premier institution permanently affiliated to Bangalore University and recognized by the AICTE.

A visionary leader with an indomitable spirit, Dr. Prabhakar B. Kore has been the driving force behind the phenomenal growth of the KLE Society for over three decades. Taking the reins in 1984, he transformed what was a cluster of 38 institutions into a colossal educational empire of 310+ institutions, ranging from kindergartens to post-doctoral research centers in Healthcare, Agriculture, and Technology. His leadership has not only put KLE on the global map but has also revolutionized the healthcare landscape in North Karnataka. A man of the people, his tenure as a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) was marked by a relentless pursuit of policy changes to make quality education and healthcare accessible to the rural masses. His philosophy is simple yet profound: education is the only tool that can bridge the gap between the privileged and the underserved.

As the administrative and academic head of the Nagarabhavi campus, Dr. Madhan Kumar R brings a dynamic blend of disciplinary rigor and student-centric leadership. With a deep understanding of the evolving challenges in the higher education sector, he has been instrumental in aligning the college’s curriculum with industry standards, ensuring that students of BCA, BBA, and B.Com are not just degree-holders but industry-ready professionals. His tenure has seen a marked focus on 'Parallel Learning'—integrating value-added courses, soft skills training, and placement readiness into the daily academic fabric. He believes in an open-door policy, fostering a campus culture where innovation is encouraged, and student grievances are addressed with empathy and speed.
